Maple's health update

Maple returned to UC Davis, San Diego, for her follow-up appointment and is doing great! Her medication for incontinence is working well—no accidents or leaking at all. Her kidney infection has fully cleared, and the veterinarian confirmed that her urethra looks healthy and may not need surgical repair after all. They also noted that while one of her Fallopian tubes is longer than the other, it isn’t causing any issues at this time.

We’ll be heading back for another check-up in six months. Maple will need to stay on her medication for life, and we’ll continue to closely monitor her health in the meantime. She truly is one lucky girl! The vet even commented on how well she’s being cared for and assured us that if any concerns come up before her next visit, we should bring her in right away.

A heartfelt thank you to all of Maple’s wonderful followers for your care and kind wishes. We’ll keep you posted if anything changes before her next check-up.
