Say Hello to Tanner! This 5 year-old male just loves people. He gives lots of tail wags and jumps a few times for hugs. If you are sitting, he might crawl on your lap and give face kisses. He is on the light side for a Golden male at 72 lbs. He transitioned from a local shelter without a hitch. Although restrained, he sat up on his car ride to our vet, looked over the driver’s shoulder, and tried to sneak in ear kisses. He walks nicely with just a collar, but we may add a harness for address occasional pulling and jumping. He wasn’t too sure about catching or fetching, but can be induced into a brief game of tug. This could just be nervousness in a new environment. He is non-reactive with dogs and exhibits in-your-face dog play rather than a polite play bow. He has lots of love and energy to share, but settles down nicely too. And talk about good looks! Tanner is entering a foster home, but would love a permanent home. Do you have a place for him?
