Meet Skye!

This beautiful, resilient girl was found wandering on the freeway and brought to a high-kill shelter, where her condition was heartbreaking. She was emaciated, covered in dirt and parasites, suffering from a UTI, and had open wounds and a leg injury. Understandably, Skye was shut down, feeling both physically and emotionally drained.

Since coming into our rescue, Skye’s transformation has been nothing short of amazing. The very first day, she received tender care and the medical attention she desperately needed—and she rewarded us with a few sweet kisses, as if she knew she was finally safe. She has since blossomed into an affectionate, joyful dog who loves people and other dogs alike!

With some good meals and a spa day, Skye has already started to look and feel so much better. She’s gained healthy weight, and while her coat still has some growing to do, we know she’ll be even more stunning in a few months. Skye’s leg surgery is scheduled for 11/14, and she’ll be ready to join her forever family after her recovery.
