Meet Skye, our beautiful girl who’s ready to find her forever home! At around 2 years old and weighing 51 pounds, she’s an absolute sweetheart. Skye is now four weeks post-op from her TPLO leg surgery, and she’s been spayed—she’s healing wonderfully! While she can already enjoy short walks, she’ll need another two months of restricted activity. After that, she’ll be ready to run and play like any other pup, with her surgery deemed a huge success.

Skye is a total love bug who adores other dogs. Her journey to this point is nothing short of miraculous. She was found wandering along a busy freeway and brought to a shelter in heartbreaking condition—emaciated, covered in dirt and parasites, battling a UTI, and suffering from open wounds and a leg injury.

Thanks to top-notch veterinary care and an abundance of love from hospital staff and volunteers, Skye has blossomed into a healthy, happy girl. She’s looking for a loving home that will support her as she completes her recovery and give her the care, attention, and training every dog deserves.
