Say “Hi” to Nova. This gorgeous 5 year old cream colored Golden was surrendered by her owner because of the owner’s ongoing health issues and family issues. She was described as the sweetest girl, and naughty too. The naughty label was only because when she sees other dogs she wants to run up and play. She ignores dogs that bark at her.

Her owner admitted that she spoiled Nova, regularly brushing her teeth, cleaning her ears, and trimming her paw fur. She was not interested in a pool when she had the opportunity, but likes to fetch toys and play with rope toys. There is no separation anxiety reported. She has a sensitive stomach and allergies, so she currently takes daily pills, but takes her pills easily. Just open her mouth and put them in. She pulls on her walks, at least on Day 1 in Rescue, so we are trying a harness on her to see if that helps. We hope to see if all the reported behaviors are confirmed by a foster.
